TIGER’S EYE
Tiger’s Eye or Tiger Eye or Cat’s Eye, is a quartz gemstone that has a fibrous structure creating luminous streaks of reflected light that are perpendicular to the direction of the fibers. Much of Tiger’s Eye crystal healing properties come from its appearance. In ancient times, warriors and soldiers wore Tiger’s Eye when they went into battle because it was believed to bring strength and protection. Roman soldiers in particular believed in the powers of Tiger’s Eye crystal because of its eye-like appearance

Information on Pierre Cardin:
Cardin moved to Paris in 1945. There, he studied architecture and worked with the elite fashion houses and became head of Christian Dior's tailleure atelier in 1947.
Beginning in the 1970s, Cardin set another new trend: "mod chic". This trend holds true for the form or for a combination of forms, which did not exist at the time. These creations allowed for the geometric shapes that captivated him to be contrasted, with both circular and straight lines.

Information on Swank
The company first began operations around 1897, when Samuel M. Stone and Maurice J. Baer founded the Attleboro Manufacturing Company to produce and sell jewelry for women. In 1908, Baer formed a new division, called Baer and Wilde, to oversee the production of men's jewelry. The name Swank notably appeared in 1927 on a print advertisement for a men's collar holder. In 1936, the company emerged as a successful leader in the industry and invited seven dealers to officially form a new corporation, Swank Products, Inc.
