ABOUT THE MANFACTURER, ANSON

Since 1938, Anson has been designing and manufacturing premium silver tone and gold tone men's accessories in Providence, Rhode Island.

Anson Inc. of Providence, R.I. Founded in 1948 by Swedish immigrant Olaf Anson as a tool and die company, the firm began manufacturing men's jewelry after World War II. In 1967, a line of women's jewelry was added and Tiffany & Co. began selling Anson pieces in its stores soon after. Although Anson Inc. was acquired by C&J Jeweler in 1983, C&J continues to produce quality costume jewelry marked with the Anson logo.
